Well Anderson is still not sleeping through the night, waking up at 2, 3, 4!!!!!!
We have tried the "letting him cry routine", but we have run out of energy for that one!
We have been through the getting up, giving him milk and nornally he goes back to sleep in our bed!! However, that is not enough for him at the moment, on Thursday night, he woke at 3am, Rob got him while i warmed his milk, we lay him next to us while he drank his milk, and he fell asleep as usual, but, 1 hour later is was on his knees crying his usual cry again for milk, and yes we gave in to him, as we were too tired, and he then insisted on playing, we ignored him, and after about an hour he went back to sleep again!!!
My alarm for work went off exactly 15 minutes later!!!!!!
Last night we placed his sippy cup on his cot rail, and like clockwork, he awoke at 4am this time, cried on his knees for a while as we watched him on the monitor, and then "oh what is that" he grabbed his drink, and after about 5 minutes was asleep again, wipppeeeee, until yes he awoke again at 430am, but fell back asleep, and then again at 5am. Christopher was then awake talking to Anderson over his cot, i'm sure giving brotherly advise on getting some sleep, and at 510am the whole house was up!!!
In a way it did work, i think, except Benjamin is now exhausted as he likes to get up about 7ish.
Our next plan is put Anderson in the other bedroom, and take it from there, at least his brothers wont be disturbed as much, but we are going to wait for our help of Grandma, to help us through it, as we struggle to find the energy for a sleepless night again right now.
At 6am they were all full of snuggles and playing in their playroom, with a bowl each of cheerios, yes they like them again now.
And at 7am they dined in their high chair on fresh fruit - watermelon, honeydew, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, toast, and weetabix, yes they eat better than us, and now they are all playing happy in their playroom as i write this blog, and it is as late at 0735am!!!!!!!!
At 9am they will back upstairs for their nap time, i normally get between 1 to 2 hours piece, to eat breakfast, make myself look human again, and sit on the coach, or shall i do laundry, tidy up????? No, not today!
Today is Gasperella in Tampa, memories of past Gasperella have been great ones, Nothing like a pirate invasion, and drinking sangria. Carl and Jo have experienced Gasperella with us, a competition to collect the most beads, and another year we enjoyed it with the guys from the fire department, i think we missed most if the parade as we were having such a laugh at well i cant even remember lol.
In the future the children's parade will be great for the boys, cant wait till we can dress them as pirates and watch the parade go by.
For those of you not familiar with Gasperella, it has to be experiened at least once to understand just how crazy it is. I have never seen so many boats in one place all trying to follow the pirate ship. And then to the parade that never ends.
just tryin havina problem
