Our trip to England

We traveled home for two weeks with the boys before their second birthday.

Orlando airport

We started off in Orlando airport, no challenges except security yet again!! They were convinced the stroller would fit through the scanner and continued to try and ram it in the machine, we just stared with disbelief to see such stupid people not understand how this double stroller won't fit through the smaller hole!! Once they realized that they would actually have to do some manual work and scan the stroller with their hand held device we were through.
We ate a family dinner at Outback watching the planes, the boys had a great time pointing out the taking off flights, and our waitress was very understanding and accommodating to our three toddlers.

After dinner we set up a play area at the gate, we found a great big corner with chairs and floor space, wedged ourselves in using the strollers as gates, and got out all the toys, the boys had a blast playing, people were watching and laughing at the boys during their play, but as time went on you could see the worry on peoples faces, praying that they would not be near us on the flight.

The flight there was through the night so they pretty much slept the way there. The airline was good enough to give us a full empty row as the flight was not full, so we had lots of spreading out room, and we had extra leg room, so no way of the boys kicking the back of someones chair.
When we landed in Manchester airport the plane did not pull up to the terminal so we had our second challenge of the trip. No stroller at the door, we had to collect it on the carousel with our luggage at the end, and we also had to walk down the plane stairs, get on a standing room only bus and navigate through the airport to our luggage with three wide awake boys to run around. Luckily the flight attendants helped us down the stairs and someone gave up their seat for the boys to sit so they didn't fly around on the moving bus. And then a lady from the flight assisted us to get the boys up the escalator safely.  Benjamin decided to press the alarm button in the elevator, and then we were near our cases.  Rob ran around like a headless chicken, grabbed the strollers, we then strapped the boys in so they couldn't escape, and the cases and car seats started to arrive. The i had to push the double and the single stroller at the sam time as Rob pushed the luggage on two separate trollies, guiding around the corners, through the security posts and finally to walk down the pathway to our waiting family, what a relief!!!
Then our holiday began!
Having a beer outside the pub with my best friend Karen before heading to the park, boys were sleeping so what a great idea to waste some time

Park play,  they boys enjoyed taking turns holding Karens dog's  lead

The boys enjoyed running and chasing one another around the trees, digging in the dirt and playing with leaves and sticks

Duck feeding time, hungry geese and ducks, the boys were thrilled especially as the ducks and geese were not shy, and kept getting out of the water to take the bread from the boys. My only worry was that the boys love water and looked like they were about to take a dive at any moment!!

Enjoying the walkways, bridges and freedom of walking around

This picture has been seen before, with Carl following my Dad when he was younger with his hands behind his back, copying is every move, Anderson thought it was great fun copying my Uncle Alan

In the playground with their cousin Summer-Mai, luckily the see saw was for four people

And the swing could fit them all in, they loved it, all giggling and chilling.

With cousins Alexandra, Danika and Summer-Mai

Anderson in his wellies feeding mums dog Oscar.

Christopher with Great Nana, she was thrilled to see the boys, and dashed up the path when she got out of the car, he r reaction to seeing me and the boys was an emotional one.

What does it take to get a smile

Nan's fireplace has new statues.

Enjoying bouncy time at the indoor playground

First time with candy floss (cotton candy to all my American friends), and of course Christopher loved it.

The letter box was a hit, especially as they could put their hands through the door, all the toys in the world and they are happy playing in the hall way.
All wrapped up for our night time walk to the beach at Nan's house.  It was a cold night but well worth the fun

Christopher having a swing by mummy and Danika

Wellies, cold water, sand, hats, wind and children, what can be better.

Yes Danika has no shoes on, im sure she would have gone swimming if we would have let her.

Benjamin with Granddad eating ice cream.

I need to add more photos of the party, but am waiting for more pictures, so i will post soon ....

All wanting to help GIGI

Great-grandma, Grandma and Mummy

And back in Florida, we spent our first day back (the boys 2nd birthday) in the pediatricians office, as they were all sick, Christopher with a perfurated ear drum, Benjamin and Anderson with ear infections and Anderson with croup. It took three days to get fever free and all feeling better then we celebrated their birthday again.

Cake is always a favorite

Knock knock on the door, what is here?

All giggles of excitement to see what it is

Our new scooters, complete with flashing lights and music.

I found the boys sat together eating their ice pops.

Bedtime

Our new tricycles, complete with our own license tags.

And all together so mummy and daddy can control them without all going in different directions.
